Adoption Grant for National Adoption Awareness Month

Lifetime has just received a generous donation for National Adoption Awareness Month, and so we're making adoption grants available to help families offset the costs.

Many loving parents are put off by the costs associated with adoption, especially private newborn adoption that receives no federal or state subsidies. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer these special grants. I believe there is a baby for everyone who wants to be a mommy or daddy. Money should not be the deciding factor in whether or not to adopt.

Criteria for the grant is based on your acceptance into Lifetime's domestic adoption program, and grant awards range from $500 to $4,000. The grants will be available until funds are depleted.

Lifetime is one of the most successful domestic adoption programs in the nation: we complete an adoption about every 3 days. More than 400 pregnant women are currently receiving services from Lifetime as they explore their options and consider adoption for their babies.

Adoption is not an easy decision, but we provide free resources including the book So I Was Thinking About Adoption, maternity clothes, food, and other things to help stabilize women so they are equipped make this decision thoughtfully, not in a crisis state-of-mind. That care and concern for birth parents is what sets Lifetime Adoption apart.

Due to our extensive nationwide outreach, adoptive parents in Lifetime’s program often adopt more quickly than their counterparts seeking an international or foster placement. Depending upon the adoption services you require, there are various programs are available.
